Tecno Phantom 6 Plus received Android 7.1.1 Nougat update, upgrade now!

Tecno earlier promised to roll out their update for their Phantom 6 Plus users on 4th of August and they kept to their promise. You can now upgrade your Phantom 6 Plus to Android 7.1.1 easily without using any file but through your system update arena, OTA (over the air).

For Tecno to roll out their update, it means they might also roll the update across other lower versions of their products. Tecno might have probably taken the step of Infinix mobility because Infinix recently released their update for the hot 4 and other Hot series smartphones.

How to upgrade Tecno Phantom 6 Plus to Android 7.1.1 Nougat

Make sure you have enough battery charge, at least 60% and above. You should unroot your phone if rooted.

• Firstly, go to your Settings and tap on 'About phone'.
• Tap on 'System Update'.
• Tap on 'Download' and after that, your phone will reboot and present you with the interface of Android 7.1.1 Nougat with improved performance and easy multitasking with some other classic features.
